About G. J. "Hoby" Stanger:
Hoby is a lifelong Magic Valley resident, graduating from Twin Falls High School. Following graduation from Brigham Young University, he began his insurance career with the Lloyd Hamilton Agency in 1974. He earned the Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 1983.
Hoby is the manager of the newly formed Small Business Unit using his thirty-plus years of experience in the insurance business working to place the coverage with the best market available for the risk. He especially likes working with the small business owner and the artisan contractor.
Hobys wife Verlie is a teacher at Twin Falls High School. They have two sons, Andy, living in Los Angeles and Rick, living in Richmond, Virginia. A lover of the outdoors, Hoby enjoys 4-wheeling, hiking, backpacking, and serving as a Scoutmaster.
