About Melissa Prara:
Melissa began her insurance career with Farmers Insurance in 1981-1982. In 1984 she joined State Farm Insurance working as customer service representative in all lines of business until 1991. After moving to Twin Falls in 1991 she obtained her Life & Disability license, working in employee benefits. Melissa joined Starley-Leavitt Insurance in 2003 and obtained her Property & Casualty license in 2004. She is an account manager in personal lines servicing alphabet Hu-M in the Twin Falls office.
Melissa has been involved in several community organizations such as a spokesperson for the Hour to Empower Program for The Leavitt Group, Southern Idaho Health Underwriters Association, Soroptomist Club of Magic Valley, Insurance Women of Magic Valley, and Pink Lady at Magic Valley Regional Medical Center.
Melissa continues to strive in her continuing education and has taken several insurance-related courses including INS 21, 22, 23.
Her outside hobbies include photography, hiking, and cooking. Melissa is a proud, single mother of one who is also following in Melissa's footsteps in learning the gift of service to others.
